Here’s one to split opinions and have guitarists arguing over their beer for a while. The Big G has reintroduced the RD Standard, a guitar originally offered back in the late ’70s.
First beer-argument point: the looks. Personally, I love how this thing looks but I can definitely see how there are some that might not. Does that make me right and them wrong? Probably, but if it’s your round, I’m prepared to enter into debate.

The guitar that’s causing so much stir around the net. So far, only seen in teasing half-caught glimpses and partial views, the Gibson Dusk Tiger is finally out of the cage. Almost.
We can get a good look at it though and we can learn a bit more about its features.
As we already knew, the top is a – rather nice looking – exotic hardwood. Partially pictured in some of the earlier images, that huge chrome thing – pickguard/control panel/pickup mount is likely to be the biggest stumbling block for many. …

The net is abuzz with talk of the Gibson Dusk Tiger.
With details still pretty sketchy, a limited number of images and some, relatively high-level, information is turning up here and there.
